Dr
Jerry SCHWARTZ - Medical Director

Dr Schwartz graduated
from the University of Sydney, and spent almost ten years in the
Public Hospital System involved in General Surgery, Accident &
Emergency, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Medical Administration.
He then worked in several Medical Centres before establishing the
Matraville Medical Complex. He has post-graduate qualifications
in Ophthalmology, Laser Surgery and was an early Fellow in the Australasian
College of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr Laon CHENG
Dr Laon Cheng graduated from the University of Phnom Penh in 1968. He work from that time til 1971 in Phnom Penh General Hospital.
In 1975 Dr Cheng obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine from the University of Sydney. From 1975 until joining Matraville Medical Complex in
2005 Dr Cheng resided in Darwin where he worked at Royal Darwin Hospital for two years and then as a General Practitioner.

Alamelu GANESAN

Dr Ganesan obtained her postgraduate degree in India. She has been living in Australia for 15 years, and in general practice for 8 years. Dr Ganesan is a fellow of General Practice and holds a Masters of Public Health and Diploma in Child Health. Dr Ganesan says her special interest is "my patients".
Dr
Tika LIMANTO

Dr Limanto was born in Indonesia, but attended Medical School in
the University of Hamburg, Germany and migrated to Australia in
1990. She speaks fluent English and Indonesian. Prior to joining
the Matraville Medical Complex, Dr Limanto worked in the public
hospital and other medical centres. Dr Limanto's interests are
children, and women's health.

Dr
John McKENZIE

Born in Newcastle,
a graduate of Xavier High School in Hamilton, he obtained a Commonwealth
scholarship to study Medicine at the University of NSW. After Graduating,
Dr. McKenzie worked in London for 3 years, obtaining a Diploma
of Anaesthesia.
Since returning, he has been in General Practice in Matraville,
and obtained his Fellowship in the College of General Practitioners
in 1983. He has developed interests in ethnic groups, and Aboriginal
Health issues.
Dr Myf SAHADE

Dr Sahade graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 with honours in the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Sahade has served in various hospital placements in Australia and the UK over several years as well as working one year at the Aboriginal Medical Service in Redfern. Her principle fields of practice are women's and children's health and preventative medicine.

Dr Muller graduated with an MDDS from Sydney
University in 1961. Dr Muller then worked in various fields
gaining experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatric
surgery, before studying for this fellowship in the United
Kingdom. Dr Muller commenced working in the fields of cosmetic
surgery in his specialist practice, acquiring degrees at the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the International
Society of Cosmetic Surgery. After many years in General Surgery,
Dr Muller now specializes mainly in the fields of Cosmetic
Surgery and also runs a skin cancer clinic. |
| DR Malcolm SWINBURN |

Dr Malcolm John Swinburn FCSANZ, FRACP, MBBS Sydney University, MA Oxford University, BSc Med Sydney University Diploma of Physical Anthropology.
Dr Mick Swinburn performed the whole spectrum of procedural cardiology, both pediatric and adult, at the Prince Henry Hospital from the 1970s to the 1990s, working with Dr Michael McCredie in the Catheter Laboratory and with Professors Ralph Blacket, John Beveridge and David Wilcken in the Clinical Wards. Throughout this time he maintained his private practice in office cardiology, concentration on diagnosis, prevention and rehabilitation.
Pre-clinical studies involved courses in animal physiology, physical anthropology including genetics and clinical medicine in Oxford and research in visual physiology at Sydney University.
In 1974 he worked as a visiting lecturer in medicine at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. He continues to work in the area of diagnosis, prevention and rehabilitation of patients with cardiac disease where diabetes is playing an increasing part. |
